Newborn Infant Care

Newborn Infant Care and Yourself

Newborn Infant Care supports mothers, newborn babies, and their families. We pair nurses with postpartum and neonatal care experience with experienced or new mothers seeking assistance in the first few days or weeks after the baby’s birth.

Private registered nurses foster a learning environment and help parents get used to their new duties. They are understanding and knowledgeable about infant care and breastfeeding. Our nurses also offer respite care so that mothers and their families can rest and recover.

Our newborn infant care nurses ensure that your newborn receives the care they require, where and when they require it. Nurses with specialized training provide much-needed hands-on assistance for healthy infants as well as specialized care for preterm babies, critical issues of infants, and children with medically complex needs.

The following are some of the advantages of post-birth and newborn infant care services:

  • Improve breastfeeding success by providing lactation education and assistance to working mothers.
  • Improve your baby’s soothing abilities, which will often lead to longer periods of sleep sooner.
  • Reduce postpartum depression and mood disorders
  • Facilitate the infant-parent bonding
  • Facilitate a smooth adjustment of soon back to work
  • Increase parents’ confidence in their skills

Newborn Infant Care Specialists from Elite Body Home are skilled and nurturing professional nurses who is knowledgeable in all factors of newborn infant care and parental involvement. Their primary duty is to help you with all factors of newborn infant care during a post-delivery recovery period. These responsibilities include, but are not constrained to, lactation assistance, feeding, bathing, changing, sterilizing bottles, and sleep training to allow parents to get some much-needed rest.

Newborn Infant Care Specialists who work evenings and weekends (6-12 hours per night depending on the needs of the family) typically stay in the infant’s room and oversee their care while you sleep. When the infant awakes, they will either bottle-feed him or bring him to his Mother for nursing. They will change, burp, soothe, and solve the baby back to sleep after feeding. A daytime Newborn Infant Care Specialist offers similar care while also attempting to create parental care, activating surroundings for your baby during the day. Your infant’s sleeping, feeding, and changing patterns are recorded throughout the day and night using an app or a binder. The main goal is to help the baby adjust to routine feeding and sleeping routines.
